About Your Photographer…

Hi, I’m Martin, a self confessed lover of everything dog related and full time professional photographer. I love sci-fi, music, photography and time with my family (family means everything and that includes the dog).

Our sister business Martin Hillary Photography has been providing professional high quality wedding photography since 2009, but after losing our 12 year old Boxer (Harvey) a few years ago we were really upset that we hadn’t spent enough time taking some professional photographs of our wonderful old boy (although I admit my phone is filled with moments).

 

Harvey was the 5th spoke of our family. Always there, always part of things, always loved and cared for. He gave his love back to us totally unconditionally. He’d been the dog I had tripped over every time I had come out of the bathroom, my early morning alarm, he’d watched pretty much every cup of tea I had made, jumped in the boot of my car every time I had opened it (just on the off chance he could go somewhere), my daily exercise (and we had done some walking), my total shadow.
Our home was just a house without the patter of his feet and he left a huge hole in all our hearts which will take some healing.
Those who have dogs will understand when I say they aren’t ‘just a dog’.
